Trail Bridge Replacment

MVTC received a Legacy Trails grant from American trails to replace three trail Forest Service bridges. In 2023 MVTC and our partners replaced a 45 foot long bridge on the Louis Lake Trail. In 2024, we will replace two failing trail bridges on the Cutthroat Creek trail. Signup to receive notifications to learn when you can help with bridge replacement next summer.

Deferred trail maintenance on scenic State Route 20

During the summer of 2023, MVTC worked with Americorps crews and volunteers to accomplish deferred trail maintenance on USFS trails in the State Route 20 corridor. These trails are some of the most popular destinations in the Ranger District, including the Heather Maple Pass Loop. We anticipate continuing this work in 2024 in partnership with the Methow Valley Ranger District. Sign up to receive updates when work parties are announced.
